Burnage Media Arts College draws pupils from the districts of Burnage, Didsbury, Levenshulme, Longsight, Rusholme, Fallowfield, Withington, Hulme and Ardwick.
The college was founded in 1933 and has served these communities for nearly 70 years. Over that time it has had a strong record of sporting, academic, artistic and cultural success. The college today has 953 pupils and over 148 teaching and support staff. We are pleased to have recently been awarded specialist status as Media Arts College.
Our extra curricular activities offer an extensive range of clubs and activities, from working in the School Garden to taking part in school shows, although the highest number of clubs involve sport, including the renowned 'BAD' (Burnage Against Discrimination) Boxing Club. We also have a long history of delivering outdoor adventure activities in association with Ghyll Head. Our rural site at Buxworth is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment.
This site will be constantly updated. If you cannot find the information you require, please feel free to contact us.
